From download to your first task.

No terminal. No separate Node.js installation.

  1. Follow the installer

    Open the PKG and follow the macOS installer to add Tubun Agent to Applications.

  2. Open Tubun Agent

    Launch the app from Applications. It opens your workspace when the local service is ready.

  3. Connect your model

    Add your model connection, then assign a connection and model to Plan and Agent in Settings → Roles.

  4. Try one small task

    Add a sample knowledge entry and ask Plan to explain it with sources. Check the first-task guide for the complete steps.

Preview release

The Mac installer is unsigned and not notarized. Full installation on a clean Mac is still awaiting verification. If macOS blocks installation, contact us for an assisted trial.

Your data is stored separately from the app. Updating or removing the app does not delete it. Model providers bill their usage separately; some integrations need additional software.

The previous ZIP release uses Start Tubun.command. It is larger and requires keeping the extracted folder together.

Windows test build: installation and data

Open the EXE, choose a language and follow the installer. Launch Tubun Agent from the desktop or Start menu. Use Quit and stop service in the system tray to exit.

Windows data location: %USERPROFILE%\.tubun-preview

Back up this folder before reinstalling or uninstalling. This test build is unsigned; Windows installation, startup, upgrade and uninstall checks are still pending. If Windows blocks it, contact support for an assisted trial.
